October 28, 201312 yr As for the game, typical Cowboys game and typical result for a Cowboys fan. 10 point lead blown late. Key turnovers blown. Lets the Lions march down the field for a game winning TD with no timeouts and in about three plays with under 50 seconds to go. Man this one hurt.
October 28, 201312 yr Dez Bryant says he's as good as Megatron? Keep dreaming Dez... In related news, Dez Bryant is apparently suffering concussion-like symptoms.
October 28, 201312 yr I There is no way he is #3 Not even close. I'm watching a guy right now who is a ton better than Dez, Jordy Nelson. Already has 4 70+n yard TD's this season. How many recpetions did Dez have today? 3? If you took Jordy Nelson over dez as a gm you wouldnt have your job long lol.
October 28, 201312 yr That whole Dez better than Calvin thing was blown way out of proportion and people who don't like Dez or the Cowboys are having a field day with it. He started the quote by saying Calvin is the best, there is no comparison. I honestly don't understand how one takes that to mean Dez is better than Calvin. He said Calvin makes receivers like him strive to get to his level. He said from a pride and motivation standpoint he feels he can do what Calvin does. There's nothing wrong with confidence but all the haters are making it seem he said "I'm the greatest wideout in the league, whose better than me". Smh at some of you people. Then to say he only had 3 receptions. I believe he only had 5 targets.
October 28, 201312 yr Think about what AJ Green would do with a quarterback that had the kind of arm Stafford has. I think he's up there as one of the best in the game. This may seem silly, but I think the juggling lessons he took early in life developed his hand-eye coordination to freakish levels.

Think about what Dez would do with a qb like Stafford, who would actually throw him the ball? But no doubt about it, the young guys are definitely tops in business right now, with exception of fitz and calvin.

I agree, and wonder if AJ really wants to stay here unless Andy learns to throw the deep ball more like he did yesterday and week 1. The rest of the games this year Andy has struggled with that deep ball.
October 28, 201312 yr I If you took Jordy Nelson over dez as a gm you wouldnt have your job long lol. Maybe, Maybe not. All I know is, Dez has all the talent in the world, but he is also a huge head case. As a GM it isn't that hard to pass on a head case like Dez. Wasn't Dez assigned security the year he got drafted because he couldn't stay out of trouble off the field? Sorry, I'll take someone as consistent as Nelson without the headaches of Dez.

And in typical Cowboy fashion, they did.
October 28, 201312 yr No way Dez is on Calvin's level. He's in a group that includes Green, Jones and Fitz with no difference in any of them.
October 28, 201312 yr Dez Bryant of Dallas Cowboys defends his sideline antics, says his passion is 'positive' - ESPN Dallas
October 28, 201312 yr I don't have a problem with his passion but I do wish he would find a better way to express himself. It didn't look good when it happened but his teammates are rallying around him and that's the most important thing. If they're cool with it then I am also.
October 28, 201312 yr "I'm the nicest person off the field. When I'm on the field, even when I look angry, it's still all good passion. It's all good passion. I feel like that's what we need. I'm going to remain the same way. I feel like I love this game. I love it. In order to win, you've got to be passionate about this game. You have to be. You've got to let that dog come out and just put it all out there on the line." As evident by the alleged physical abuse on his mother and owing about $600,000 at a Dallas mall. Dez is a physical freak but he is not right.
October 28, 201312 yr Dez Bryant of Dallas Cowboys defends his sideline antics, says his passion is 'positive' - ESPN Dallas It's always positive when you have a loose cannon running around screaming at everyone on the sidelines. Heck of a teammate.
October 28, 201312 yr It's always positive when you have a loose cannon running around screaming at everyone on the sidelines. Heck of a teammate. They are rallying around him and publicly taking up for him. That's on them. If they like that kind of stuff.......more power to them.
