Agree that the loss in the DH football family could have a huge impact on this game. Just can't tell if they will 'mail it in' or play like a super bowl contender. I'd expect the SK family to be respectful of the hurt at Dixie this week.

IMO, for Dixie fans, the concern about the loss of Coach Brossart's wife and its impact is not on Friday night. I see the team being focused and motivated on Friday. The concern is how did the loss impact preparation this week. You usually play how you practice. I am sure this has been a very difficult week of practice at Dixie.

As fans we never know what trials or tribulations coaches or players are going through in their personal life's. The whole nky football mourns for the family and the entire Dixie community. I hope they can come out inspired and play their best football. Truly a tough and sad situation and I pray that God comforts them in their time of need. :thumb:

I didn't realize how non pink my wardrobe had become until I went to the closet last night looking for something. I'm hoping all of the others in attendance are able to show support though. Good luck to both teams tonight it should be a beautiful night for football.

I have no pink. I've been wearing Colonel Blue for the last 25 years but today I will go to Dixie, buy a red hat and wear it proudly at the game tonight!

Walmart has lots of pink sweatshirts and long sleeved Ts for men and women. Went out at lunch and invested in new pink stuff, pretty cheap too!

I just asked and as of right now nobody has heard if there will be someone taking donations. That's not saying there won't be but as of now I can't give a definite answer.
