Scott was a senior heavy team last year as you probably already know, the seniors this year didn't get much of an oppurtunity last year at the varsity level. Scott had a very strong JV team last year, which should benefit them for this year. I do expect them to fly under the radar, and come tournament time Coach Brad Carr will have his players ready.

No one, myself included at times, knew much about Scott last year outside of Nick Jackson. When I saw them in the 10th Region tourney, they played exactly how I expected a Carr-coached team to play--defense, discipline, & effort. They came across as a deep team as well.

 

I really hope Crim decides to play, even though I understand if he chooses not to. The young man is a bull down low.

Pais had a very young team last year. If they all return, I could see them making some noise. GRC will have the defense, they just have to get their offense going.

 

Bourbon is the team I am watching. With new coach Matthew Martin and a transfer in, think they will do better than most expected

You can always expect Coach Carr's team to play hard each and every game. He really gets alot out of his players. I have high respect for him.

On a side note, 4 of the top 8 players all played AAU together this summer.

Holbrook, Trentman, Pulliam, and Burns.

They played for the NKY Jazz. Under the leadership of Brossart varsity assistant Kevin Bundy, They won several local tourneys and finished 5-5 in Orlando in the Supershowcase and the Div 1 nationals.

I saw a lot of their games. Very nice athletes. They were also complemented with 3 other Brossart players Jennings, Rieger, Shannon along with Buten from Highlands. I think all of these players put in the effort over the summer and expect all 8 of them to surprise some people with how their game has improved.

I can promise that Scott will be Top 3 and will be in regional tourney at end of the year. Best of Luck to all.

With what Campbell and BB returns, it will be a tough road to the region.

I would also watch out for Matt Johnson from Scott. The kid is an athletic freak and if he actually decides to try, he'll be a great option for the Eagles.
