Good win for Ohio State. I look for them to go through the regular season undefeated.

I agree on all three points. Like JA, I was more ticked off at his handling of the football, errant throws and the way he carried the ball-one handed, away from his body.

No offense intended, but if the Ohio State team that showed up today shows up to play the Alabama team (or even the Texas A&M or LSU teams I've seen at times), well... it's a different game. They've got a path to the national title game, but they need to bring more than they did tonight, because a team like Alabama won't let them up when they get down.

Valid points but my argument is that OSU went on the road, at night, against an undefeated border line top 15 team, Braxton played his worst game as a Buck and OSU still got the W. You still have to give them credit for heart and facing adversity. OSU had a 20 point 4th quarter, I think they got a dose of toughness but clearly have to improve.

I thought OSU may have caught of couple of big breaks in this game. It looked as though Hyde's forearm was on the ground before he extended the ball across the line, thought the replay guys would see that.

Also, the spot on 4th down was shaky, look where the side judge places his foot when he comes in, and then where they place the ball to mark it.:idunno:

I guess the same could be said about Ga after the horrible game they played against a terrible Tenn team.

I think I heard on some radio show this morning that Danny Sheridan (odds dude for USA Today) said the last TD resulted in a swing of 300 million.

If Nwest makes the snap it's a first down, shot themselves in the foot.

OSU beating a very good and imo certainly underrated NW team I feel said more about them than a lot of people think. I say this bc that to a lot of people, NW is a bad football team just bc of the name and never has been at the top of college football and most fans think that they are weak. NW is Extremely well coached and they have talent, are a good football team. NW has been building a very good program in the last few years. This game was the espn gameday game, at night, that crowd, etc.. , there are a lot of teams that would have went in there and lost.

Huge difference....Georgia was without their top 3 WRs and top 2 RBs. 95% of teams facing that adversity would've lost that game. They found a way to win.

Do they really have a path? At this point, I think most would agree an undefeated Clemson, Florida State, Oregon, or Stanford would probably get the title game over an undefeated Ohio State, simply due to the strength of the rest of their schedules. Ohio State can't lose, and will need a bit of help IMO.

I was meaning path as in stay undefeated and get some help. I do think they'd probably be behind Oregon, Stanford, and Clemson, but I'm not sure about Florida State.

 

I guess FSU would have beaten Clemson and Florida, so they'd probably be ahead of them, but with Florida being down, I don't really know if it's a given.

 

I definitely think they are a team who'll have to be undefeated and get some help from another team that knocks off the Stanford/Oregon and/or Clemson/Florida State winner to get there.

Fitzgerald seems like he would be a good coach to play for.
