Not unless the game was cancelled. Some of these "district" games are a joke, but hey, all teams have the privilege to play football. I know if my JV son gets in the game tonight and gets a chance to make a play, I and everyone else fully expects him to play 100% to the whistle blows. No matter what the score is.

Yes. I believe it was DragonFire who said that the school record was 85 which was scored against Glasgow in 1932 I believe.

Expect a similar score tonite in Ft Thomas, pls come and stay for the whole game and it will make more sense, sometimes it just is what it is and nothing more...

MAYBE similar, but not 91 points. I understand people's thought process with it looking bad, but if I'm a coach what else can you do? If they're just that bad?? I don't know if BG did any of this, but Highlands' bad rep with it comes from the play selection in these situations, not the score, that's when coaches get touchy, like if you run a vertical while up by 56 in the 4th quarter. If I'm the coach in this situation, just run, run, and maybe a short pass every once in a while. That being said, I feel sorry for the other kids on LC's sideline. On a side note, I really wish BG and HHS could play this year, it'd be an awesome game.

Why was Bowling Green passing up 49-3 and up 56-3 in the first place?

 

Why were they passing up 77-3 in the 4th Quarter is even more of a question?

 

I am not saying a blowout of epic proportions couldnt have been avoided and certainly 2 Defensive TD's helped make the margin what it is... but in a game where it was very clear Logan County didn't deserve to be on a field 3 passing TD's with the clock running is a bit excessive.

As long as this was done the right way I have no problem with it. And it sounds like it was handled correctly.

 

BG pulled starters. Start getting the backups in early in the 3rd quarter. The starters still need to get the reps in during the first half...even if up by a large margin.

 

Run your offense with the JVs (and frosh if you dress them) and if the other team can't stop your 2nd, 3rd, 4th team players then i don't know what to tell you. Looks like all 2nd half scores were from people other than the starters.

 

BG didn't do anything wrong.

Give me a break. If Trinity beat someone by this margin the wolves would be howling! I am certain Jason Frakes is very proud, very proud indeed.

I just don't understand the outrage.

BG scored 91 points, but you all act like they didd it with their starters in the game the entire time. You can't ever tell me T never wins big.

BG had their 2nd string JV players playing in this game.....you can't expect kids who never get to see the field to not try.

This whole argument is stupid.

 

 

Congrats BG on yet another win and you are still #1 in the state.
