October 1, 201313 yr The Champions Classic is what I am most looking forward to: Kentucky vs. Michigan State, which could be the pre-season #1 & #2 teams. Kansas vs. Duke, which not only features two top teams but also Wiggins vs. Parker Louisville at Kentucky Kentucky at North Carolina North Carolina at Michigan State Kansas at Florida Arizona at Michigan Michigan at Duke Memphis at Oklahoma State (just to see the potential of these two) Georgetown vs. Michigan State (just because it's a good non-conference game in February) Hoping for an Arizona/Duke clash in the NIT Tip-Off. Michigan State in the preseason top 5?? How? What am I missing? I'm way out of the loop.
October 1, 201313 yr Michigan State in the preseason top 5?? How? What am I missing? I'm way out of the loop. They return Keith Appling, Gary Harris, Adreian Payne, & Branden Dawson. Depth might be an issue for them, but Sparty should contend for the title this year.
October 1, 201313 yr They return Keith Appling, Gary Harris, Adreian Payne, & Branden Dawson. Depth might be an issue for them, but Sparty should contend for the title this year. Damn. All right. I don't like Michigan State so I never pay attention to them. I didn't realize they returned so much. Intriguing.

October 1, 201313 yr Why don't you like them? I'm honestly not sure. I just never really have. I think it is their playing style and they have never had any appealing players to me.
October 1, 201313 yr Damn. All right. I don't like Michigan State so I never pay attention to them. I didn't realize they returned so much. Intriguing. Getting both Harris & Payne to come back was huge for them. I've always liked Michigan State because I like Izzo. I really like them this year because I love Gary Harris.
October 1, 201313 yr Author I'm honestly not sure. I just never really have. I think it is their playing style and they have never had any appealing players to me. Never really cared much for MSU. Coach K has owned Izzo so I've never worried about them.

Exactly the same here, you took the words out of my mouth. Love Izzo, the way his teams play tough, and Gary Harris. Getting both he and Payne back puts them up there with the best of the best.
