Walter
Breds travel to Ftt Thomas Friday night for a 4A district match up. Rather than asking who wins and why, I think the better questions are: Do the Highlands starters play more than 2 quarters? Do the Birds put up more than 60? This game exemplifies why we need to completely rethink the 6-classification system in football.

THUNDERBIRDS
Maybe the Varsity can build a big enough lead to allow the JV team a chance to play. The JV has had limited time due to scheduling conflicts with other schools. One game at a time..... "Just Play Football"

uk#1fan
Highlands should be able to make sure every kid on the roster gets some snaps this game.
Sweeperboy
Highlands should be able to make sure every kid on the roster gets some snaps this game.[/QUOTyE] Would you be shocked to know that this happens in just about every game? Kids at Highlands don't get "snaps" because of blowouts and "its time to put in the lesser player" as some would say, really not in Dale's vocabulary...Just sayin Talented Depth kills....:thumb:
thenamerobdigity
At what point in the game does the running clock start? I will go with 4 minutes to go in the second quarter
ThrillVille Cardinal51
Harrison Co. Players and fans wil enjoy the atmosphere in Fort Thomas on Friday. It's a unique place. Remember that the scoreboard doesn't always determine the winners and losers. Just enjoy the experience and keep it in perspective.
Whackem'n'Stackem'
I would play the starters for a quarter, get a commanding lead and turn it over to the backup quarterback and other JV the rest of the game. Our backup needs some reps throwing the ball. If Houli goes down, we'd be in a pickle, IMO.

I think you need to get out to more practices to watch the reps the backup QB gets. You didn't see it Sat because he is not your true backup. I do see your concern but I think HHS would be fine..... Oh, I think I remember you telling me this over the weekend. I get confused b/c conventional wisdom tells a person that the true backup would come in for Houli. :thumb:
gchs_uk9
HC lost by 30 last week to 1A school. This game exemplifies why we need to completely rethink the 6-classification system in football. If we had a four-class system, I think Highlands and Harrison County would both still be in the same class. But I do understand your point and agree with it.
