October 5, 201312 yr It was clearly the right call after seeing the replay. He put the tag on sure, but the ball wasn't in his glove. By the time it was, he had a hand on the bag.

October 5, 201312 yr Author Not many people gave the Braves a chance to even get the split at home so hopefully the Braves can pull out game 3.
October 5, 201312 yr it was bang bang for sure. Yea... In live action, I can see how it ends up going either way.
October 5, 201312 yr Author Yea... In live action, I can see how it ends up going either way. Watching live and seeing the glove on him first definitely helped make the call in the Braves favor. Even after watching replay it's bang bang.
October 5, 201312 yr Not many people gave the Braves a chance to even get the split at home so hopefully the Braves can pull out game 3. Since 10 out of the 13 people that voted in the poll picked the Dodgers in 4 I would wager that most people expected the Braves win to come in Atlanta. To most people on here the series is going exactly as expected.

To most people on here the series is going exactly as expected. I think people voted Dodgers in 4 just because they didn't think they were so dominant as to sweep. But most analysts (and I admit myself) seemed to think that the Braves could not/would not beat either Kershaw or Greinke, both of which were always going to start in Atlanta. I also think it's possible that what Sv is saying is that following the first game, many probably didn't think they'd get the split at that point. The Dodgers hammered the best the Braves had to throw and it's not as if the Braves bats had been on fire of late. GT even stated above that the Braves would get 165 games (i.e. swept) compared to the Reds' 163. I think perceptions shifted after Game 1.
October 5, 201312 yr Author Yeah even with people picking the Dodgers in 4 I believe that many though the Braves had a better chance in game 3 than game 2.
October 6, 201312 yr Author Nervous about tonight. Teheran can be great or can be bad. Just inconsistent enough to not know which will show up.
October 6, 201312 yr Nervous about tonight. Teheran can be great or can be bad. Just inconsistent enough to not know which will show up. I hope he shows up tonight, He was arguably thr Braves best starter the last month or so of the season. Minor faded and Teheran is more electric than Medlen. For some reason, I feel confident tonight.
