October 4, 201312 yr I love when fans (Braves fans included) complain about a ball or strike when they have no clue from the stands if it was actually a ball or strike. :lol2:
October 4, 201312 yr BJ Upton is the most certain out in the history of outs. Just send Ayala up there. He can't be worse. And a strikeout looking. SHOCKER. You waste of a roster spot and money.
October 4, 201312 yr Author Very bad inning for the Braves allowing Kershaw to settle down like that.
October 4, 201312 yr Very bad inning for the Braves allowing Kershaw to settle down like that. Need a rally. Not looking like the Braves night tonight.
October 4, 201312 yr I'm surprised he made it to the 4th pitch. The third was very close. And he looked at that one too. Upton doesn't seem to understand that if it's close, you can't take it. He seriously strikes out looking more than anyone I can ever remember.
October 4, 201312 yr I came running into this thread when I saw BJ Upton at the plate. I figured the Braves fans were going to go nuts.

I could live with the strikeouts if he hit 28 homers and 75 RBI.

Boy was I wrong.[/quote'] I guess we can hope he fixes his problems this off season. I know he wasn't worth what the Braves gave him but even if he could get back to what he was doing in Tampa that would be great. For the baseball experts, how does a player get so bad in one year???
October 4, 201312 yr I admit that I thought he'd be a good player when the Braves signed him, not worth the contract but still good. Boy was I wrong. What I'm still angry about is that they paid more for him than Bourn got from Cleveland. Bourn is/was a very good player. And already in the organization. They paid BJ sooooo much money.

October 4, 201312 yr Author Not sure why they didn't want Bourn back.i believe they thought he'd command much more money than what he ended up getting and they signed Upton before his price lowered.
