Good grief.

Not a good showing for the Braves tonight.

10-4 Dodgers.

The opportunity was there but it's gone now.

The good news is that the Dodgers will probably not throw Kershaw on short rest tomorrow now. The bad news is that even if the Braves win Game 4, they'll have to deal with him in Game 5.

Hopefully they can bounce back tomorrow.

Looked safe to me' date=' but the replays didn't show anything conclusive IMO...[/quote']

I paused it and watched it in slow motion. He was out. he didn't touch the base until his knee hit it...

Not that it matters much now I guess.

Stats for Hanley Ramirez this series (including his at bats so far in this game):

6-12 w/ 5 extra base hits (3 doubles, 1 triple and a home run). Has 5 RBI's and has scored 3 runs scored.

he looked safe to me.

Just to prove it...

I think it's been rough for Capuano because he hasn't had enough of an opportunity to get loose.

Listening to this game on XM, the commentators have mentioned how Capuano has been able to settle in deep in the innings.

I have to share this gem I saw on a game chat:

a headless unfrozen ted williams would be more useful than bj upton

The Dodger crowd tonight seemed pretty "meh" to me. Easily the worst crowd involvement seen yet in the postseason. The pirate fans have been the liveliest by far on the flipside of things.

I hope the Braves don't throw Garcia tomorrow. Its die or go home. I know Medlen didn't do great the first game but we need this one. I'd send him out instead.

On 3 days rest?

On 3 days rest?

The Dodgers had discussed doing the same with Kershaw. It's a tough spot for the Braves. Made tougher by the fact that Medlen looked terrible in Game 1.

It's funny - the only starter I had no faith in was the only one who has done well.
