Thanks again everyone.

Looking forward to hoops season.

That is great news! Looking forward to all your great coverage! Congratulations!

If people are willing to go back that far to see what I'm tweeting, they have wayyy too much time on their hands. :lol2:

In all seriousness, even though I'm a UC guy, this is a great opportunity and I have no problem being an unbiased, neutral observer while covering their team.

(insert high school team here). :sssh: :whistling: :lol::lol::lol: Sorry I had to.

All kidding aside Congrats on the the new gig, your hard work in the past and present is proof that you will do a great job. :thumb:

Good luck in your gig .

You've got a tough road in front of you though. Like it or not, X staff isn't going to be forthcoming with a known UC guy.

I don't tell you that in any other vein that to let you know what you're going to face.

Best of success.

Cory Albertson was a UC guy too... I think I'll be fine. I've had conversations with Mack in the past and he has always been a good guy. I've learned over the years that the best way to deal with coaches is to be up front and honest about everything and you get a lot more respect.

Appreciate the advice.

Congratulations! Very happy for you. Best of luck!

Rather than starting a new thread, I thought I'd post it in here that I have been offered and accepted a promotion to run the Xavier Rivals site as the Publisher.

I will be handling everything from national recruiting, that is Xavier related, to team coverage during the season. As excited as I was before, I'm even more excited about this opportunity.

Was it related to this?

Would like to announce that as of tonight I have resigned from College Sports: Rivals.com . Due to recent changes, it's time for me to step away.
