Agree, disagree? I actuallythought it looked pretty close till it got down to 20-25, then it got a little skewed. #14 Campbell Co was a little questionable, also.

For the record Massey has B.G ranked #89 in the nation this week and I think that is more accurate that #42 of Calpreps.

Last two years at least 6 loses! BG has a very nice team but come on lets be real here.

Tell you what I get tired of. People need to stop blending "program" and "team" together as if it is one thing. Program= 4,5,6 years or more. Team is NOW.

There is no question in my mind that Trinity and Highlands are 1-2 programs in this state.

The B.G. team of this year seems to be better than Highlands. A game against Trinity would be fantastic with the Rocks probably edging them out.

Wouldn't St. X be a better indicator seeing that X is an actual common opponent. Not a common opponent of a common opponent.

Thank you, that's what I've been preaching for a month now. Too many people want to look at history which makes no sense when determining the best team this year. High School Football has differnt players on the team every single year which means the team is different every single year. But some fans of a team that has historically been #1 think the past is what counts when talking about current years team.

 

I think BG is the best team right now this year, but some have an ego that won't let go of the past.

Some think 3 losses is better than no losses.

34-0 over their last 34 is reason enough. If T was undefeated id lean toward them, but their not.

Unless all the top teams play, it's endless pointless speculation.

We still don't know. Will never know. And it will always be speculation. Being a fan of Trinity or Highlands doesn't qualify an opinion any higher than a non Trinity/Highlands fan.

Don't know, don't care. BG is playing out of state teams this year also.

 

The only way to decide who the best is is to have every team play every team and go from there and that is impossible to do. So I simply wish some would stop living off the past and realize we are talking 2013.

 

BG could play T's schedule and do the same but without them playing eachother it really doesn't matter

 

In 2013 it is a sad day if the best team in the state has a losing record. If you want to keep talking about "Well look who they played" well that is fine, then win those games, if you lose then you have no argument that holds any water with me. Anyone can play a tough schedule and lose...doesn't make them the best.
