Boy they wreaked last night. 5 turnovers. Gag.

I don't wanna hear it. 38-0.

Yep. Like I said earlier, worst team the Steelers have fielded in over a decade.

Funny, like the few Steelers fans on this board have left. UKFan, that's funny. We're still here. And way more solidified on this board than your tenuous existence.

Bengals have had all the bounces go their way, and that's the making of a special team. Enjoy it while it lasts.

You Bengal fans enjoy the mire of the Steelers, you don't get to see it often.

To be fair, please note that even when the Steelers were getting beat in the 2nd quarter, I truly thought they would come back to win. Both a tribute to how good they've been for so long, and how as a Bengals' fan I'm wired to expect the worst for my team and the best for our rivals.

Fair enough, that's understandable. I just always try to be careful jumping on another team when mine hasn't proven anything either.

But the Bengals fans have had so little to cheer for...and I'm including the last 2 years (one and done is nothing to be proud of) that when they actually do look sort of like a real NFL team we have to take our opportunities as they come. The Steelers winning 2 SB's in the past decade have been salt in the wound of any Bengals fan so when we get to watch the dreadful team they have become this year it's sometimes hard to keep our enthusiasm over their downfall in check.

The is no reason a Steelers fan should panic. Your team is still owned by the Ronney's and a 2-3 year bad run isn't close to a 30 year bad run. The Rooney's will fix things this decade while the Bengals fans can only hope for 2 playoff wins this decade.

I don't wanna hear it. 38-0.

That was pretty rough...

Yep. We're in the same boat, with a hole in the center.

Yes, this year is bad, but the Steeler nation knows the Rooney's will do what they can to turn this ship around... I'm hearing it from bungal fans daily basis. :banghead:

So were not in a boat? We've sunk already. I think. :lol2:

Yep. Have to say it's been some number of years that I'm looking forward to the offseason and draft

They will have needs. I believe they have tried to draft o-linemen early, but things haven't worked for them. Pouncey is really good, but he is just one of those guys that is the wrong place at the wrong time and gets injured often. DeCastro still may be good but he is really a rookie with being injured early last year. Adams doesn't look like he is good enough and Gilbert is just awful they should cut their losses with him. They have tried but seem to have missed more than hit. They may have their RB in Bell, but they really don't have the speed threat they need at WR. The most puzzling thing about them is their defense just hasn't caused turnovers which they always used to do. I believe their defense is still very good, though. Offensively though, when you cannot run the ball, it puts way too much pressure on Ben and when he throws it 40+ times he will throw for a lot of yards, but he will also turn it over. If they don't get turnovers consistently, I see them between 5-7 wins. I thought they actually showed signs of life last night.

Bell returning this week should help some.

Bell is an unknown commodity considering he has a total of 2 carries as a pro in the preseason. And in my most honest opinion, Pouncey is vastly overrated. He'd be better suited at guard. In 2 games, Velasco has been better than Pouncey.

If the Steelers can get a running game back, Pittsburgh will be a tough place to go to when the weather gets cold.

pete, can you play OL? If so, you're welcome to give it a shot in black and yellow. Cause the outfit they have out there now sucks like a shop vac.

No, but my son did (play OL, that is). I'm just thinking they might be a whole lot better by 12/15 when the Bengals come to town.
