Surprised by this score. Nice win for Holmes.

Looks like Scott and Walton are not even close like some were thinking..

Don't know what happened in this game but Scott was clearly better than Holmes. Scott seems to be the real deal. Holmes is decent but won't play with the ditrict top 2 obviously.

Surprised by this score. Nice win for Holmes.

Holmes led 14-0 at half and 21-7 at end of third quarter. Holmes' D played solid game. Had at least three interceptions, including 60-yarder for TD in first half.

3 picks, one to the house, 1 lost fumble for the Walton Offense tonight= 27-14 Bulldogs.

Obviously, the Bearcats need to work on holding onto the ball. Might've been the difference in the game.

Score could have been the other way for the Bearcats with a touchdown being called back on a chop block. Missing two of their fastest and best playmakers along with key subs did not help their cause either. That being said congrats to Holmes and onward and upward for the Bearcats.

The Bulldogs also had a touchdown called back on a penalty. In addition, Walton recovered two onside kicks. They also scored multiple times on apparent busted coverages. Some would say the game easily could have been much more lopsided.

I doubt it but in every game their are opportunities to make plays but Holmes made fewer mistakes and capitalized on Waltons.

Score was about what you'd expect from an average 4A school playing against a little better than average 2A school. Looks like it was competitive. Penalties and turnovers happen in most games. Looks like the difference in this one.

Did Latimore play?

Box score has Latimore scoring a touchdown, don't know if there is more than one Latimore, though. Holmes had 13 penalties, several turnovers, and 7 sacks of Kilne. Looks like it was a pretty sloppy game. Nevels was not very happy with all of that in the article I read, except the sacks. Sounds like the Bearcats fought until the end. Kudos for the effort.
