Russellville should have a slight edge at #2 over Beechwood.

Just sayin ... if Pikeville beats Belfry they should be #2. I didn't say that could happen.

Only one season I believe in the last 10 years or so that they haven't been regional champion and played at least in a state semifinal. Top four in the state every year is pretty good.

- Regional champ/state semifinalist (top 4 in class) or better every season except 2.

- Five state championship game appearances

- Two times 1A runnerup

- Three times 1A State Champion

 

Very few schools in any class can match that record over that time period.

Beechwood in my opinion is ALWAYS a team that demands respect. I enjoy our games each year but I'd be lying if I didn't say they make me nervous!

Beechwood won a state championship 5 years ago (their second in a row). You need to change that to the last four years.

 

But I hear you. It is about what have you done for me lately. Anything short of a state title is disappointing to Beechwood.
