And your strategic move would have been what? Not saying I agree or disagree. I want to hear what you thought should have been done.

You're right, Izturis was totally overmatched in the two hole today...

Love people who have an opinion after the game. Also can't take anyone serious tht thinks just b/c ther was a good result the decision leading to that result was good.

Agree on Choo. I don't want him bunting unless there's a runner on 2nd & no outs.

Isn't Choo batting under .200 against lefties and Izturus was hot today. Don't have a problem with it.

Izturis is under .200 against the entire world. Pop up, walk to Votto.

Especially with Izturis behind him.

I told the guy I went to the game with I liked the lineup when I first saw it. Who else was going in that spot?

Votto? Nope

Bruce? Definitely not

Ludwick? Still no

Frazier? I don't like him in the two hole right now

Cozart? I'm not messing with him right now as hot as he is

Meso? No

Were you around sections 112 and 113?

I didn't go down that way too many times, but yeah I was down there a little bit today. I worked the whole third base line.

I was at UK game today in the heat, thought of you every time the kid with drinks and peanuts came by walking all the way to the top of Commonwealth. Bought from him twice in honor of you...well that and I burning up in the sun...:lol2:

Haha thanks brother! It sure was a hot one today. And I doubled up what I was carrying most of the time. Made for a long day.

I wasn't as concerned with who was batting behind him. I just think our second best hitter shouldn't be bunting in that situation.

I could buy half of that. Run Hamilton. Take till he steals, then bunt him to third. Choo stinks against left handers. A sac bunt is about as productive as you can hope for versus a lefty.

Um...what?

Does Billy Hamilton make the postseason roster? He's won 2 games with his stolen bases and kept them in another one in extras. I feel like he has to be on the roster over a guy like Heisey who brings nothing to the table

He will be on the post season roster IMO. I'd be shocked if he wasn't.

Per ESPN...

Billy Hamilton pinch ran for Ryan Ludwick and came around to score the winning run on Todd Frazier's single in the bottom of the 10th inning of the Reds' 2-1 win over the Dodgers. Hamilton, who has not yet come to the plate in a major-league game, is the first player in the modern era (since 1900) to record a stolen base in each of his first four MLB contests. Three players over that span swiped a bag in their first three games: Fritz Maisel (1913 Yankees), Ray Lankford (1990 Cardinals), and Pat Howell (1992 Mets).

Our boy LRCW was extremely pleased Latos drilled Puig. Surprised no one mentioned it.

I saw it while I was walking down the aisle and was glad.
