I think it will be higher scoring than people think.

This is one game that plays right into the Bengals strength. The Bears o-line is average at best, but probably not even that. Pressure Cutler and he has the knack for throwing picks. The Bengals cannot turn the ball over against one of the best teams of causing them in the last 10 years. My one major concern is if Whitworth doesn't play, Peppers may go wild. Bengals 24-17.

Anthony Collins is one of the best backup tackles in the league, and probably would be a starter for some teams. If Whitworth doesn't play, Collins should be just fine. He might even be better off than Whitworth because he is more athletic that Whitworth so might matchup better with Peppers.

I agreed with everything you said until this. Come on FC. You're never better off without a pro bowler.

I don't know, Whit has struggled mightily against athletic Ends. I'm going with FC on this one.

Hey hopefully this becomes a trend. :D

I honestly have always liked Collins. I remember him his rookie year going in and doing very well against some top rushers. So I am very confident in him if Whit doesn't play. Shoot if Collins impresses the coaches enough, maybe we could see Whit move back to guard if the left guard struggles. I doubt that happens, but its a thought.

Collins has always done a good job when he has played. I even just mentioned how even his rookie year how he did a great job on good pass rushers back then. Plus he is a lot more athletic than Whit, and Whit will be working on a sore knee still if he does play. With a guy as athletic as Peppers, having Collins in there wouldn't be a bad thing.

Whitworth still hasn't practiced.

Me and my son watched part of the Bengals practice today. They kept blasting crowd noise during practice it was pretty cool.

No way Collins is better even against athletic rushers. He is a very good backup. But if he is so good why hasn't he walked. He is a backup for a reason. Maybe teams have tried to trade for him, but I haven't heard of any, though. It is a luxury to have good one to fill in for a few games. Left tackles are hard to find and team will pay big $$ to get one. Peppers is a beast just don't let him disrupt everything. With either Whit or Collins, Gresham will have to help.

Cincinnati 27-24.

This is a tough one to predict right out the gates, but I will take the Bengals. Defense wins this one for the good guys.

The Bengals were a 4pt dog and now they are 3. Does that sound right to everyone?
