You have to think it is. He's been on three teams and two of them excellent franchises. The Broncos and Patriots keep and develop talent very well in general. They don't make emotional decisions, therefore, they both felt he just wouldn't develop. He has played too many games to be Practice Squad eligible, also. The Jets are a chaos franchise and they need a QB in the worse way and he couldn't stick there. I would imagine he will be fine, though, just not as an NFL player.

Actually the Broncos would have kept him had they not got Manning.

Go to CFL and try to hone some skills. Worked for Flutie.

We'll never know, but I doubt it.

If they wanted to keep him they never would have went after Manning to begin with.

Yes they would have. It's Peyton Manning for crying out loud.

Can't think of a better environment for him to have stuck so I do believe he's done.

The CFL is a pass heavy league. When you have three downs to make a first down you need a quality passer.

Peyton Manning who they'll get 3 years out of at best and is one neck injury from becoming a commentator or Tebow who is a proven winner and has his whole career ahead of him? They made their choice. I didn't see Green Bay going after Manning. Saints? Nope. Pats? Nope. Steelers, the team Tebow defeated in the playoffs? Nope. Happy with Ben. Hell, the 49ers even kept Alex Smith. Cardinals? Kolb? Eagles? Nope. We'll keep Vick but thanks for calling Peyton. Bengals? Nope, Peyton...we got Andy. Giants? Nope, Peyton. We got the winning version of you, we're fine. Broncos(with Tebow in the room when Peyton calls) how much do you want Peyton?

You can tell yourself,"it's Peyton Manning" all you want. If the Broncos had even the slightest bit of faith in Tebow they wouldn't have sold him for 3 years of a 37? year old Peyton Manning. That doesn't make sense.

Same here.

Tim Tebow just needs to move on to what ever is next in his life. I think he will have a huge opportunity as a speaker but he may just slide off into being a Missionary to third world countries.

I did not specify which skills. :)

Flutie was just the first name that popped into my head.

Might be the last Tebow thread... Cherish it.

It's because Manning was only goin to go to a few certain teams. I'm sure teams put out feelers him.

I think the Broncos were satisfied with Tebow to an extent. Obviously they weren't completely sold on him but why take a chance on an unproven QB when you can get Manning? They wanted to win now.
