Really nice win for the Raiders.

2 blocked punts by ryle seemed to be the difference. Both giving Ryle the ball inside the red zone with the last blogged punt coming in the last 2 mins of the game with the game tied at 10.

Morgan had a great Td to break the tie and put Cooper up 10-3 but that was about it ooffensivly for Cooper. Ryle ran the ball most of the time and iit was a defensive game most of the way.

I thought the second punt from Ludwig went off the up man's backside?? No? The key play of the game was a fantastic punt by Ryle to nail Coop inside their own 1. Flipped the field and Ryle took control from there.

England looked tentative to me. Needs to hit his holes with more authority.

They had a different punter in on the last blocked punt.

My old eyes are failing me. Lol. Did the punt get blocked or did it get kicked in to the up man?

Off the back of the up man because he was driven backwards.

Really nice win for the Raiders.

Is it? Isn't Cooper expected to be down from last season?

Yes and yes.

Yes he did look a little tentative. I think he is more of a receiver. You are right, when running he didn't hit the holes quickly.

Congrats to the Raiders on continuing to chip away to get the late comeback win. Both teams played really hard. Great decision by Coach Warner to punt from the Jags 45 with about 6-7 minutes left in the game. Ball downed at 1 and that flipped field position late. Aaron Morgan was the best player on the field and turned a short completion into a long TD. Ryle looks improved from last year with better team speed. I hope that Ludwig is OK as he took some wicked shots and was slow to leave the stadium.

Yes and yes.

Is it a nice win since it is over a county foe? If not, how so? Shouldn't Ryle be much further along with their program than to be a couple of blocked punts away from losing to Cooper?

It's a nice win because Ryle stunk it up last year and has a young team this year. ANY win is a good win for Ryle ESPECIALLY in game 1 over a rival.

As to your last question, yes.

Tough way for Coach Borchers and his team to lose but credit Ryle for fighting the entire game and pulling out the W.

I think we are pretty much on the same page, but I won't call this a nice win. It was a necessary win to keep the heat from going nuclear in Union. How far has this program fell since the win over Highlands?
