I was in the press-box across the field from the CovCath Crazies and I heard them easier than the Boone County fans or students.

 

BTW whats with the Boone County Band playing music when their own team was trying to move the ball on offense? I thought the KHSAA had rules about the bands playing music during live play.

Luke did great and my guess is he ran for over 100 yards but didn't score.

Always liked Luke and think he will have a huge year especially with Dressman to compliment him.

 

Luke is strong as an ox and may be one of the fastest backs in the area. I predict a 1,000+ yard season from him this year.

To my fellow Boone Co. fans...it's goanna take a little time. But mark that I said it...things will look very different after these kids get a year in this new staff's system.

Jacob scored his first V goal for soccer team against SK last night. First pat was a little ugly....but ugly good. Settled down and also got his first roughing kicker contact......Would have bet you $1000 that he missed the next attempt after......is 7 for 9 counting the scrimamge at CC.

 

Hats off to Coach Wirth and all the staff and players for helping him settle in and bring his comfort level up slowly. Making it fun. Soccer comes first as agreed upon and only two conflicts this year......Moeller and BW.....

 

Also huge props to Senior Sam Dressman who has taken him under his wing and is helping him into that role. Class act.

Coach Griffith probably had a good inkling as to the outcome of this game prior to kickoff. I did and I don't see either team like he does.

 

You can't just turn a player into a QB. Takes time.

 

So, so true. I can't even imagine being "thrown" into the QB position like Floyd has, it's got to be so tough on the kid. IMHO, the QB position takes years of film study to properly prepare.
