UK doesn't count NIT championships. They have 8 NCAA titles. They'd have some Helm titles added to that count if they were counting "mythical" national titles. Prior to 1959 there were no real state titles.

Um, I think you might want to check your math. Twelve plus one equals thirteen, not fifteen. X has twelve titles, as in ten fewer tham Trinity or Highlands.

I like the new jerseys. I'm a fan of almost any jersey that allows for them to wear all 3 of their game pants.

I think this is awesome that X is getting national recognition and is ranked #1 in KY.:thumb:

 

The X kids finally get some respect but they also have a huge target on their backs and that may not affect the coaching staff but the kids may not be ready...or...the kids are ready and the coaches may not be just yet.

 

This is a huge yr for X and gives them a chance to reemerge into the scene and make some noise, the window may not be all the way open just yet but there is a small crack and if they take care of business they will be well on their way to regaining prominence as the top team in 6A:thumb:

Also nice to see X and BG getting some national recognition, while Highlands and Trinity playing on national TV. This is great for Ky. high school football. :thumb:

I understand what you're saying, but when you attend X, the target is always on your back in everything. While the media and others may not have been high X the last few years, that does not mean the expectations for each were any lower.
