Significantly weaker than last year's. Brad Schickel graduated and he was very reliable in any situation, especially in the clutch. Senior Jake Collins will do the extra points and field goals as of now, but could split time with Junior Michael Bennett. Punter will either be Collins or Junior Mason King who has a boot! That won't be the strength like many times it is for St. X!

Good luck in all his future endeavors, but personally although he was the largest I thought he wasn't up to par with the rest of the guys.

That's unfortunate, but better to come to that conclusion now and allow someone significant time to earn that position.

I may be wrong, but not sure he was a starter. Could be totally off base.

According I more than one source he was also a BIG DISTRACTION and will not be missed by many. He had more than his share of opportunities. As noted above, he may not have been in the starting rotation

He's back. But yea as I stated previously I don't believe he was in the starting rotation. But your sentiment as far as attitudes towards/about him I believe is true.

The intrasquad scrimmage is Saturday morning, the time is eluding me right now. Well see walker playing a lot of defense. He's been recruited as a safety by UK.

That's good stuff. Please give us the time when you know what it will be. I also heard that UK really likes Walker as a Slot Receiver as well. Evidently he performed well for them at this position at a couple of camps. Slot is intriguing if you ask me.

I have believed this for a long time, but I have no problem with guys going both ways. Especially if the kid is one of the best players on the team.

 

Walker seems like he's a natural athlete to where he can play, and contribute at a high level on both sides of the ball.

Yes he said he's one of the only remaining receivers they're recruiting but he said the secondary coach is going to come to multiple games to see how he performs at safety.

Percell also could play both ways. He played will in little league.
