Reds @ Giants 7/22 - 7/24

I'd have a hard time letting Bronson walk, but it depends on the money. He is dependable and has been very, very good for the Reds. In fact, he just got his 100th win as a Red last night.

Hasn't Bronson already deferred a bunch of money, requiring the Reds to pay him for years to come? I thought that was how they signed him most recently.

Only the 5th pitcher since 1970 to record a 100 wins as a Red

Robinson made a nice catch in CF to end the game last night & preserve Bronson's shutout:

If a good catch is made on the west coast to end the game and preserve a shut out, and no one is watching...does it count?

I hired you goofball.

Well I know you had input but I thought LRCW made the decision. Either way, I thank both of you. (Since he isn't here I actually fully thank you.)

Keep up the good work, you have ownerships full support.

I appreciate it.

Cingrani has to be in the rotation next year. Who is gonna be out of it then?

Wont disagree here, but with Cuetos injurys contining can we really count on him for next year?

Also What about Cingrani to the bullpen next year (if Bronson is resigned) We desperately need another left arm in the bullpen.

It made #3 on the ESPN Top 10.

Unless he's way more pitch efficient, I wouldn't want him in the pen. I think he's a solid left handed starter for several years. He'll get some serious tutorial on offspeed stuff this winter I'd imagine. I think Arroyo has to be the one you let go. Unless you had a deal on the table in the offseason that was a significant upgrade and Homer was the bait.

My fear is that Homer is gone ASAP. By that I mean once hes a free agent (after 2014 I think) he is outa here fast, and if we let Bronson Go, then we are in need of a starter (assuming Cuteo stays healthy)

Kinda neat little tidbit:

The fiancé works in home health, and told me a few weeks ago that one of her clients was the grandmother of a Giants pitcher, Eric Surkamp. Tonight, Surkamp makes his 1st start since Tommy John surgery last July.

I say depending on the season, his value, and where the Reds end up come mid September will bear out Homer's future.

I dont think he wants to play here anymore, just his demeanor.
