How about Bronson? In his last 9 games he's 4-2 with roughly a 2.52 ERA. If you take out the Oakland game where he went only 4 innings and gave up 7 ER, he's 4-1 with a 1.58 ERA. Old man is doing work.

I watched as the cameras focused for about 5 minutes on Hatcher, Dusty's kid and others in the dugout joking around as they watched the goofballs running around on the field. It must have been pretty amusing seeing the cops chase them down based on their reaction in the dugout.

Reds starters have a .591 WP this year. 39-27. The bullpen is 17-16.

I think he's going to command more money then they can afford, so I think they let him walk, and I think I agree with it.

 

If he wants to stay involved in the game, I think he'd be a hell of a pitching coach. I think he'll want to focus on his music once he retires though.

Bronson will go to work for Paul Mitchell when he retires.

It will be sad but Arroyo will be gone. The Reds have the young arms to fill his slot so it makes no sense to risk a multi-year deal on him. Dude is 36. Here is a question ... if Arroyo said he would accept a one year deal with a buyout option on a second year, would you do that if you were the Reds?
