As far as having to develop characters, I agree to a point but it's taken the entire second half of the season. Why waste most of the season developing a bunch of newbies unless you're planning on killing off most of the originals.

Interesting, I thought that group told Daryl that they already said Terminus was not what you think it was. Why would they go back there?

 

Woodbury had huge fences and guards, The prison--well it was a prison and they had Walker invasions. Terminus was pretty much a walk right in and help yourself place?

As we have learned, sometimes the tv show parallels the comics. I recall in the comics they came upon a settlement that was open and giving. They were somewhat "protected" by a mean band of bullies who they had to give food to or else. So it could be that this Terminus needs more people to work with them. (Like the movie "Ants" with the grasshoppers.)

It's opinion based though. Still has high viewership and the scores for each episode are still very strong' date=' can't complain with that and it's hard to please everyone. I still love the show and I think this has been great. Yeah it's not been non-stop action and what not but they're focusing on characters more. It's a different beast in having to develop storylines and characters into an hour long show that really breaks down into about 40 minutes of air time. Pick and choose and save the rest.[/quote']

I also do not need non stop action. I don't know where you get this stuff...I just need it to be not so stupid. I can live with some stupid if the show is entertaining. This last episode was one of the better ones this half of the season...I'll say that.

Like I've said before...I realize a zombie show can't be 100% realistic. But it doesn't have to be so stupid either. None of these people would still be alive if a real apocalypse happened. Maybe Daryl and Shane...Rick would die almost immediately. Maggie and Glenn too...

 

How did the tunnel collapse? Did Maggie do it with her pistol? Must have been a high powered pistol. Why would there be zombies in a dark tunnel? Everything they have told us up to this point indicates zombies are attracted to light and noise...there should be neither in that tunnel. How long has this apocalypse been going on now? And that mini van started right up?? :lol2:

There were some cool zombie effects in last night's show. Rubbing face on barbed wire, splatting on the ground, etc

I believe Maggie said something along the lines of just shooting at the ceiling of the tunnel, caused the collapse. What she had as a weapon(s) or ammo, I'm not sure...would have to go back and look at previous episodes. I would agree...highly improbable, considering the thickness that the ceiling probably was initially.

 

As far as zombies in the tunnel...I think that's possible. Say they follow someone in there, and maybe they catch him/her. Or maybe the tunnel acts as a funnel for noise from the other side, and once they get in there, the noise disappears. If they're far enough in, what lures them "out" after they're done gorging? If it is indeed a tunnel that was going to take awhile to go around, I would imagine there's plenty of space in the middle (particularly if it curves) that would be out of sight of any light.

 

And finally, the minivan. Here's the problem that I had...it was that there was a zombie inside it. If "momma" had a running vehicle, why stop there and stay inside til you died? I would think, in the south (where you don't have the cold winter months to help zap the battery's life) that a relatively new battery (installed a month or two before the apocalypse) could still have enough juice to turn an engine over.

That's the one thing it really hasn't done to my knowledge....Except for when Darryl and Beth was in the trunk it was lightning but not sure it rained.

It rains when it's convenient to the storyline. Like early on in Season 1 when Rick & Glenn put the zombie guts all over themselves & walked through the city. Obviously, it had to rain then in order to make the story more intriguing/suspenseful.
