The ratings say it is. I for one, have rarely planned to watch a weekly show. TWD is a must see for me. Mrs. TAC and little TAC must vacate the room (they are not fans) on Sunday evenings. Only other ones I fell for were Nip Tuck and Shameless when I had the premium cable package.

Preview for next week looked nuts! Daryl, Michonne, Tyreese, & Bob are driving when they come upon a horde of walkers. Executive Producer Greg Nicotero says the horde numbers 7,500. :eek:

I would think that as well, except that the show seems to be male dominated right now.

I thought it was just OK. I would think they could keep the zombies off the fence. They look like easy Pickens to me. Someone has a great rat trap and no one knows about it?

Rick coming around is good. My guess is he joins the council and they make some tough decisions Nice to see Miconne has a heart. The virus could lead to some interesting turns. Burning bodies was smart, I guess tyresse is upset because they did it to his girl friend. Did Daryl dig ditches for everyone that died? Don't like how they have all of these other folks in the prison with them and they are just there to be killed off. Talking dead said there were 45 folks in prison last week now only 30. If you are in the prison and dont have a speaking part you are kind of like that guy from star trek that goes on the mission to the planet with caption Kirk. You don't last long.

As to the walkers at the fence, I think you could clear out 150 of them in just 10 minutes with 5 people down there. I realize there are more and more walkers coming, but why they wouldn't clear out what's already there each day, is beyond me. Why let the numbers build up?

 

Farmer Rick didn't last too long, did it. I liked the symbolic throwing down of the work gloves, and then the strapping on of the gun/holster later on.

 

Michonne had a kid at one point. There's no doubt in my mind. Even before she broke down holding the baby, when Beth said something about there ought to be a name for parents who lost their kids, I wondered where she was going with that.

 

And I think the addition of the Woodbury group is just like you described...they're the red shirts on the away team. But, to some point, I understand why they may have had to do it. If you killed off a significant portion of the original group all at once like they did last night...there wouldn't be many, if any, left.

 

What I'm surprised about last night, was when there was discussion about where to move the survivors from Cell Block D, that nobody brought up the possibility of moving to Woodbury. I realize that the prison offers certain attributes (the fence, watchtowers, etc.), but it's not like the town wasn't already fortified.

I told my son the same. He thought it was the skinny black dude. His theory is that he may have been a plant from the Governor and is poisoning the food and launching the virus as well as feeding the Walkers.

My gut (no pun intended) feeling is that the baby is sick and we'll have our first infant walker soon. It will be etched in our minds forever...like the newborn lizard on V.
