I guess it depends on what list you look at but the local paper said the district ranked 18th in the state. Regardless of that it is a phenomenal district which takes care of their people once people get there they don't want to leave. Pay and work climate make it a great situation, very strong leadership from the superintendent down.

I've been on the other end of these things too, so I can appreciate that attitude. However, you two should know me well enough that I don't make a habit of starting wild rumors on BGP.

Just joking, Chuck Smith and what he accomplished at Boyle is the single most impressive thing I have seen in Ky Football...I was just making a joke based on all of the fun Chuck Norris like abilities we all attributed to Chuck Smith in the other thread!

I have family teaching in the district which is why I am samewhat acquainted with it. I was going by the State of KY report from last November where they were 124 out of 174 districts and rated as needs improvement. They do seem to have a nice climate for the staff which I imagine will lead to positive results.

I believe this brings him a little closer to Louisville. I believe he will be a formidable candidate for the Trinity job once Coach Beatty hangs his whistle up

My understanding is that he is returning to high school to qualify for his state retirement. I don't think the Trinity job would help him in that endeavor.

Yes he is an he has already set the tone for bardstown defense the kids are responding well to his coaching

I'll believe it when I see it in print. I live in Boyle Co and there hasn't been one word about smith coaching at bardstown in the paper
