Spill it.

Right you are Mr schue. I think they finally hammered out all the details. This will be big news.

Paintsville and McClean are the only 2 jobs listed on the KHSAA website.

It's not a head coaching job. Actually, as far as I know, it may not involve coaching at all. But something tells me it will.

Paintsville and this school have something in common, I will say this...

Just another rumor until someone provides some facts.

What is the point of the thread? There is no information being shared. I see no value in saying "I know something you don't".

It's all about ego and wanting people to think they are important. Give me a break. If you got something to say then say it. Otherwise keep your mouth shut, and quit acting like a teenage girl walking around saying I know a secret, I know a secret.

Not my place to break news, I didn't start it I am just confirming I would expect some sort of public announcement soon or at least the cat will be out of the bag. However he will be at a top level school district, and potentially involved with a football program with multiple state championships. I think this job meets a lot of his needs as far as working on his retirement and also being near his family.

I am getting some conflicting information here and need to do some more work on it. What I have heard is Chuck Smith will not be coaching football and it isn't near his family. I am having trouble wrapping my brain around some of this. If you are willing to share more with me please PM/Email me on it and we should be able to get the correct information on the site in short order.

If what is written above is true, perhaps he will be hired as an AD somewhere? What did Chuck Smith teach while at Boyle County?

Multiple sources now point to Bardstown as Chuck Smith's landing spot. However.... he may or may not be coaching at Bardstown this coming season and if he does coach this season at Bardstown it will be as an assistant Coach.

If I learn more I will share more.

Best of luck Coach (Chuck) Smith!
