June 9, 201313 yr Was glad to see the Reds get this one tonight. I did not want to go into Sunday night in danger of being swept and being 6 games out. Considering how the Cards are playing even though its June imo that would be hard to climb. Latos goes out and not having his best game fought through it to get the W. That's what a leader does. Chapman got another save although he did scare the hell out of me doing it. Bruce's play on that ball that looked to me like it may have been out was crucial plus he went yard. I would love to see the Reds take this series and be heading into Chicago on a high note and get on a roll.

June 9, 201313 yr I've been in Illinois since Friday, on the border of Cubs/Cardinals territory so one of the televisions was set to the Cardinals broadcast of the game. The poll question of the night was: Which Reds player do you love to hate? Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Aroldis Chapman or Johnny Cueto. Anyone want to guess the answer?

She asked us if we would send Sean and Chloe back up to the gate to get two more bats so she can send them to her grandchildren in Florida. I tell her sorry but that's dishonest, and would keep two kids who actually come to the game from getting bats. She gets upset, rolls her eye, mumbles something, and walks away. What is wrong with people?
