Agree with all of the above- would also throw Dennis Odom 's name in to the mix as well- dominated middle of field at linebacker.

Both Odom's were great players but I don't think they are in best ever territory. And I am thinking Steve got a partial to WV as a long-snapper.

Matt O'Toole should be number 3 on this list Doug Jones was a great player but missed probably 15-17 games with injuries including his entire senior year. While Matt led DIxie to being the number one team in NKY that year, and bowed out of the playoffs against a Brohm led Trinity team in a really good game.

 

With all do respect to Guru Matt O'Toole is in the top 3 over Doug Jones.

Agreed. O'Toole goes down as one of the better all-around players (ie not one side of the ball) in the 2000s.
