Beechwood probably bounced coming out of the All "A" tournament.

Beechwood will be back.

The Panthers just took it to the Tigers tonight. They played in your face man to man defense not allowing B-Woods shooters to be free. In the first game between the teams I believe Ludlow played zone allowing them to shoot 3's all night. Resulting in a blow out. Great switch this time around, good win for the Panthers. Beechwood played tough as well.

Excellent game played by the Panthers. Got down early by 10 points in the 2nd qtr but fought back to take the lead at the half. They played well through out the 2nd half and B-wood was not able to just continuously knock down the 3's as they did in their 1st meeting. Dan Penick continues to lead the Panthers with 22 points and 19 rebounds tonight. Justin Hardin had 15 points and 8 rebounds and Chase King had 17 points- 7 assists and made 3/4 very key foul shots when he was fouled and a technical was called on a Beechwood player. Michael Romes had 37 for Beechwood and is just a very good ball player. No one else on the Beechwood team did much damage.

Very important win for the Panthers as they obviously are playing much better basketball then they were in December. Congrats to Coach Highfield and the entire Ludlow team.

Has to be a letdown since Bwood defeated Ludlow by 29 earlier in the season. Just shows you can't just show up and win.

Beechwood doesn't miss all those threes very often.... they become much more beatable when they are off from three land...

I want to notify all my Beechwood friends and their fans who although there were more then usual there, it must be disappointing for the Tigers to see they get minimal support. Too bad, they may not have as good a team in sometime.. It was fun to watch the rather pained expression of my favorite Beechwood fan their in the front row as he realized his Tigers weren't going to get the victory tonight.
