I heard that Prince did not play at the state tourney due to injuries. Also heard that there had been an issue with his being too old for 14U last year so was surprised to see him on this roster. Someone please correct me if I am wrong on either.

Wireman - it was a heck of a game...unless you were on the wrong end of the score! Seriously though, as a parent from the opposing team, I have to give credit to Manimal. Those kids never gave up, played with a lot of heart and played well together.

 

That was probably the best game I've watched all year. That would've been a tough one to lose either way. Credit to both teams for a great effort on the court today. Something I think we can both agree on...the officiating was less than stellar (both ways).

I saw a lot of games over the weekend. I thought the refs did a GREAT job. I have been To the KBA for a lot of years. I must say this was the best experience I have had. It seems like they finally have thier act together.

I need some help for video purposes. Anyone know the name of No. 3 on Shining Stars (kid who hit the game-tying 3-pointer to send it to double OT)?

Prince is, um, way older than his paperwork would indicate...

We definitely weren't at some of the same games then... I saw some very good refs, but saw a few that were some of the worst I have seen in a while.

I just call it like I see it. I am going through videos. I think it might have been worse than I made it out to be.
