April 29, 201313 yr Personally I believe that Alabama should be ranked #1. Ohio State does imo belong at 2 or 3, Meyer has another great recruiting class in and several top returnees including B. Miller who should be one of the top players in the Heisman race. Looking at the rest I believe that ND at 10 is too high but can see why they are there. South Carolina should be much higher, possible top 3 imo. Georgia has a lot coming back on offense from a team that was five yards away from an SEC championship and very probable national title and I look for them to be near the top as well, UGA's first two games are with Clemson and South Carolina and those will be very important games for the ratings of all three teams. Clemson is another that I would rank higher than they are in the pre season. Pre Season polls are just that and really don't mean a whole lot, except maybe to some fans that want to crow or hate a little. :woot:

April 29, 201313 yr The difference between the last several champions and schools from other conferences all starts up front on the D-line. Alabama and LSU D-lines have been so much quicker than other teams O-lines that is almost not fair. I see Ohio St has a Soph D-lineman from Georgia and a couple of D-ends from North Carolina. They need to reach deep into the south and get some beef with speed and nasty intentions for the D-line. FWIW OSU should be no worse than top 2. Bama top 2, Cards Top 5, A&M and Georgia top 5 as well. I look for the Ducks to Qurack under the pressure of NCAA investigations and all of the turmoil that comes with that.
