Who is better than Arkansas, you left that part out...

That would be assumed if the team was meeting an undefeated OSU team in a bowl game.

True true.. They have to beat a top tier SEC team.

What will be the real fun thread is if OSU plays an SEC team, preferably top SEC team in a bowl and the Buckeyes win . Oh..the excuses, complaints and crying then.:sssh: :lol2:

Being from Northern Kentucky, unless you have graduated from OSU or are related to a former OSU athlete, how can you root for them? Ohio looks down upon us w/ contempt. I fart in their general direction and hope they lose every game. But they are a very good program in a very good football state.

Completely untrue, I am from Ohio and spent time at OSU, people in Columbus do not care about Kentucky, especially the KY football program. It's a basketball school and always will be.

With all due respect OSU has been backhanded in some big moments by the SEC. From my perspective tOSU guy trying to play off these games with a house money perspective as if they are some no-name school seems a bit absurd. If they win, well, they should every once in a while. It will be about time.

I take it that you meant that you were from NKY bc I am from NEKY but still on the river, One border of our town is the Ohio River just as several NKY towns are. I am probably missing something here but I don't have any relatives, close friends from Ohio and I did not attend OSU. I have liked OSU football since the early 70's. Nothing else to it. I have said many times that I am also a U.K. fan and SEC fan. I don't believe that one has to hate the other. Should it ever come to a U.K. / OSU football game I would enjoy watching it but would pull for U.K, I am a Kentuckian and back U.K. in all sports.

My comment on how funny a thread on OSU vs. an SEC team in a bowl or NC game was due to the overall loathing of OSU on bgp. Some on here HATE OSU for it's existence and go out of their way to bash the Buckeyes for any reason or no reason at all. At one time it bothered me when all of the bashing would start but now I just laugh at it. I think life is too short to deal with some haters ( certainly not everyone). Someone wants to bash that's fine, doesn't bother me at all if they rant from here to the end of the season and beyond, I just won't go there. Should some want to have a respectful discussion on an OSU or any game that's better.

I am not quite sure what you are trying to get at but I agree with you on a lot of your post. Some OSU fans may be doing that but I am certainly not. As I said in the earlier post I was actually talking about some of the SEC or no one fans on here and how they love to jump on the bashing OSU wagon. I like Buckeye football and don't apologize for it, nothing more nothing less. I also love the SEC, by far the best conference in the country. What it all comes down to is that I love and am a fan of college football-all college football.
