At first I was skeptical about Woody Harrelson playing Haymitch. But he has done a marvelous job.

I did really get all the hype about the first movie (but then again, I haven't read the books). I will still see this one probably. One day I might read the books.

I'm looking forward to the movie; Like others have said I thought the first 2 books

were good. The third left something to be desired.

I thought Woody did a good job as well. The first 2 books have so much detail/action

that I always think back to parts that don't make it into the movie.

Didn't read the books so can't comment on that. However, did anyone besides me think the movie was terrible? Not just the subject matter, kids killing kids, thats bad enough, but in my opinion it was just a bad movie. Quite honestly I couldn't have cared less if the main character had been killed or not, and, at least for this movie, thats not what I am supposed to feel. I didn't think the acting was very good, some of the scenes were just not very well done, way too may holes in the plot. I was told I would have understood the movie a LOT better had I read the book. Well, I don't want to read the book, and the movie really shouldn't have to make you do that if it's well made. I got the movie from Red Box and stil felt I paid too much to see it.

Agreed; the books make watching the movies that much better. I thought about reading

the books again before the next movie comes out.

The book always helps when you go watch the story unfold on the big screen. I think I would have liked The Hunger Games without the book, but the film was more enjoyable having read the book first.

There was so much background as to why the games were held and far forth that if I that not have read the book I would have been lost. Because of that, I wasn't impressed with the movie.

This second film is based on the second book. The third book, which was awful, will be the basis for two films. So there will be four films in comparison to the three books.

November 2014= Mockingjay- Pt. 1

November 2015= Mockingjay- Pt. 2

There's quite a bit in the tailor that I don't remember from the book. For example I don't remember that conversation between Snow and whoever that is taking place. I don't think it was in the book.
