January 5, 201412 yr Seems like no one really weighed in on what they thought about the movie, or is there another thread I'm missing? I wasn't thrilled with the first, which I posted in this thread but I just watched the 2nd this weekend and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was so much better than the first. And I'm one that hasn't read the books yet. Jennifer Lawrence did a great job and I really loved the very last scene where it was just on her eyes and you could see the real emotions. Anyone else want to discuss it?
April 27, 201412 yr We rented it last night. Did anyone else not like the way it ended? I loved the ending. The book ended with Gale saying "there IS no district 12". But the movie shows Katniss' reaction: Sorrow -> Despair -> Anger -> Determination to fight -> Cold desire for revenge. I thought it was perfect, and could only be pulled off by an excellent actress.
