Am I the only one scratching my head at how a 19 year old can completely elude for upwards 15+ hours, an entire army of police, swat, and military in a city that is in complete lockdown mode?

Forget the foreign part. Why would anyone watch someone drop off a backpack to not one single soul and then leave it unattended? I don't live in an America where people are nice enough to watch your bag for you when you leave.

That has me puzzled as well, any movement and he should be caught. They either know where he is and are very carefully watching him and planning their assualt or they have no idea where he is. I hope it's the first.

I would tend to agree with you. For what it's worth, though, I don't think they've tried to give the appearance that they absolutely did know where he was to begin with.

That's my take. They have no idea where he is and can only keep searching, taking any tip they get, and hope he or whoever he might be with messes up... It's been 15 hours, he might not even be in the area anymore.

Totally agree obviously the foreign part raises the bar higher. We can't forget 9/11, sure were much safer now but there's 10 lil Bin Ladens growing up in the desert somewhere. We have to understand how the world is and the fact were always a target.
