So in other words, if I'm reading you correctly, you want media fairness in the event the culprit is someone who overdosed on right-wing radio -- which exists because we no longer have a Fairness Doctrine (or Equal Time Rule). Sounds fair to me.

Not saying they could/should have stopped it, but it's a good thing they were there to help deal with the aftermath.

I don't disagree. AM radio is solidly a right-wing medium that appeals to older males. The easiest way to verify this is to check out the commercials: pitches for gold, male enhancement products, casino gambling, etc. Radio also is an antiquated medium. So whether or not people like Hannity and Limbaugh dominate AM radio is pretty much inconsequential in the big scheme politically, because I see no indication that the AM hate radio is attracting new, younger listeners.

If you look at several post of Mountain ref he has hinted at race in a post or two. He has also been called out on them. Travon Martin as well as the girl from Chicago was African American. I'm pretty sure that's what he was hinting at.

The Baptist Church is faith-based. AM talk radio is hate-based. That's not my opinion. That's fact.

 

To put it another way, why was Rush Limbaugh shown the exit door when he sought an ownership position in the St. Louis Rams? Was it because he's too caring ... or was it because he made statements like the following: "The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons."
