April 18, 201313 yr I believe Detwilier is their #5 starter. Actually, it isn't that far fetched to say Leake is the best #5 in the NL. Leake has more wins, but the rest of the numbers are much better for Detwiller.
April 18, 201313 yr Is Jose Fernandez really a 5th starter on the Marlins? He's probably their best pitcher arguably their number 1. Leake is heck of an option at the 5th spot of the rotation. Talent wise, Fernandez clearly is not their #5, but I believe being a rookie he started the season as their #5.
