I think the Tigers have a legiate shot if they can keep shooting the ball well.Also they must stay out of foul trouble to have a shot.I have seen South play a number of times this year and they have been impressive in each game except the game at Corbin.They didnt shoot the ball real well that nite and if Barbourville can get them on an off nite it could be interesting.The point guard matchup is even in my opion.Both guards do an outstanding job in running there teams offense.I no these two teams may not meet but i would just like to hear every ones opinion if they were to meet in the regional tournament.

Could they, ... yes. South, like any other team has some off nights.

 

Will they, .... I don't think so.

 

Dinky Phipps is doing a great job with his team, but South Laurel is on another level. Barbourville is right now, without a doubt the 2nd best team in the 13th region. I wanna see this game when they do meet, but South is 15-20 pts better IMHO.

Of course they could! But they will not!

Barbourville could, but it won't happen. The biggest reason being that Barbourville can only go 6 deep. But if there is a team in the 13th that could pull off the upset on South my money would be on Barbourville just because they're so athletic.

I'm sure B'ville has a nice little squad but their scheule is nothing near the schedule of SL.

I dont think so, but anything is possible in HS basketball.

IMO I believe that Barbourville is the only team to beat South in the 13th. Clay might if its at Clay. But this is considering Bville has a great night and South is having an off. Nobody can beat South in the 13th if they are on they way they can be. The vill. was right in his comment that Barbourvilles problem is they are not deep enough. Foul trouble would hurt them bad.

I think it would be very HARD to beat South...I would have to say Clay has the best chance just because Region is on their court....and Clay does have a nice team...

Chances are slim and none and slim just left town.

Any team has a chance.............. but it isnt going to happen.
