Brossart is one of the top 15 or 20 teams in the state. They are better than anyone in the 13th besides South.

I am just giving my opinion that is all. I was @ the game between B-ville and Brossart. They played around with one the 13th regions top 3 teams.

Brossart is a nice team that plays very good defense. That being said, I don't know that they're a top-20 team.

 

After watching the Mustangs manhandle Barbourville, I don't see how anyone could entertain the idea of Barbourville giving South Laurel a legitimate challenge.

South Laurel is in a league of their own in the 13th. Everyone else is playing for second place. If SL happened to have an "off" night, someone may play within 15 of them, but that's about it.

I hope so bad that someone can put together a great game an win the region to make all of you eat major crow. I agree they are the favorite, but there are alot of teams who deserve some respect in this region

One might make a case that Madison Central(17-5) and Lousiville Desales(11-8) are not on the same level as South Laurel but they beat South anyway! Go figure! Maybe....we shouldn't call off the rest of the 13th region regular season after all! Yes, I think we should play the 50th district and 13th region tournaments too!

If Barbourville brings the same game to their district opener that they showed last night, it will be one and out. Knox Central would have beaten them last night pretty easily.
