April 2, 201313 yr I agree with the posts above. After watching the video, that guy has to go. That is ridiculous. BCG can't believe what that guy did.
April 2, 201313 yr Jared Sullinger @Jared_Sully0 5m I would of snapped on the coach from Rutgers.... I would sit before I take some abuse from that man LeBron James @KingJames 9m If my son played for Rutgers or a coach like that he would have some real explaining to do and I'm still gone whoop on him afterwards! C'mon
April 2, 201313 yr Greg Auman @gregauman 10m If you've sat close enough to hear Rutgers' Mike Rice during games as I have a few times, you can't be remotely surprised by today's news. You really don't have to be that close. One of the drawbacks, or benefits, of not having large crowds, is hearing practically everything the coaches say. I remember the Rutgers game up here last year. Made Seth Greenberg sound like Mother Teresa.
April 2, 201313 yr Are players just accustomed to this kind of abuse? How come they never came together and whipped him? It's amazing what people in positions of authority get away with...

Don't know what his comments were, but too funny.
April 2, 201313 yr Dude's crazy and deserves to be canned, but I can almost guarantee the players saying they would've whooped him, would have never done a darn thing in reality.
April 2, 201313 yr Dude's crazy and deserves to be canned, but I can almost guarantee the players saying they would've whooped him, would have never done a darn thing in reality. And how can you almost guarantee that?
April 2, 201313 yr And how can you almost guarantee that? Because it's real easy to sit on the outside looking in and say that, but this guy was these players coach. Athletes are taught from an early age to take any and all criticisms from coaches. They come back at him and they're putting their basketball careers as well as their education on the line. He has the power to dismiss these guys at the drop of a dime. So, obviously, none of us no for sure, but I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money that no player would have retaliated.
April 2, 201313 yr Dude's crazy and deserves to be canned, but I can almost guarantee the players saying they would've whooped him, would have never done a darn thing in reality. So you don't think LeBron wouldn't have put a knot on his onion?

He had no superstars or All Americans like Lebron and Sullinger on his roster either.
April 2, 201313 yr So you don't think LeBron wouldn't have put a knot on his onion? No, I very strongly doubt LeBron would've done anything.
April 3, 201313 yr Lebron said if that was his son out there he would have whooped him. He never said if it was him.
