Have I made it clear how bad refs are at calling the block/charge and how much I dislike it? Mich St. player jumps to his right around Valpo player on a nice dunk, the defensive player never really gets set and starts falling down before there is contact, but because the Mich St. player's left hip brushed near Valpo players left side, charging is called.

I'm starting to think they should extend the line under the basket a bit farther out so refs can see the calls a bit easier (as its typical to have a cluster down low) and you will see less people trying to take a charge since it will be easier to around it as they will have to set it up farther away from the basket.... hence less calls will be made. Just a thought.
