Would be shocked if Mike Listerman left Holmes for a Catholic school job.

 

Highlands would be more of a logic choice than Holy Cross.

Jimmy was in his first year as a freshman coach and his dad was helping him, not ready for head coach job. He did a fine job with a very thin team.

How about Pat Ryan. Loved him as a coach. Current baseball coach (don't know if that is too much conflict). Holy Cross and NKU ties.

 

Feel the same about Pat. He's still there. I remember when he was coaching at St. Henry. Could light a fire if you know what I mean.

Anyone know who Kozerski is good friends with that wants a basketball job? That's who I'd lean to with the way the hiring process is down there.

HC could really shock people by hiring outside of their comfort zone. I don't see it happening though.

Joe Goodenough ??? Current Assistant at St. Henry under Faust and HC grad.

 

Great guy and honestly an outstanding teacher. My daughter loved his classes and leaned a ton from him, while attending IHM!

I like Goody a lot, but if HC ran Erik out of there and the best hire they can make is Goody they're even dumber than I thought.

I don't think some of the applicants for the other jobs will apply for this one. I keep hearing they won't look outside the box. I attended an AAU practice of one of the major teams in KY. The assistant coach says the coach at the school he is the assistant on is going to apply. I can't say who it is right now because I am going to verify with him this week.

Pat has creditablility and would give the program some much-needed stability. He would be willing to weather a few tough years and rebuild the program from the bottom up, rather than through the back door. He is a Holy Cross guy through and through and probably has one more rodeo left.

He better not after being adamantly against the former Beechwood baseball coach joining the baseball staff down there.

Don't see this happening as his first stint as head coach at HC back in the early 80's wasn't good.
