Now that the 2012-2013 Hoops season is over, I thought it would be only fitting that a big shoutout of THANKS and CONGRATS was due to all that made this season so much fun to follow. As far as NKY goes thanks and congrats to the following:

1. To all the players and coaches for your hard work and dedication to making your teams as successful as possible.

2. To all the seniors, thanks for leadership that you provided for your teammates and good luck in the future where ever it leads you.

3. Thanks to Mark Wehry, Rich Maile, & Greg Spencer of the CovCath Internet Radio team and Dave Schabel, Dave Trentman, & crew of the Bishop Brossart Internet Radio team. You do an excellent job promoting your schools as well as the opposition, and provide fans of ALL schools a wonderful call of the games.

4. Thanks to Buttels and the crew at Tristateinternetsports.com and the crew at NorthernKentuckySports.com.

5. To our boy Walter, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, did a better weekly Regional Update then you and your video highlights were awesome. Because of your efforts more 9th Region players (besides Holmes :lol2:) will get some notice.

And last but not least.......a big thanks to paNDA, your dedication to the NKY sports community with your picture taking is second to none. :ylsuper:

My apologies if I missed anyone.

Don't forget my brothers and sisters who blow the whistle.

Everyone is trying.

Thank you to all of the above. It is very much appreciated.

Great post LB. I have a few more to add.

Rick Broering and his NKYFAN.com site was a new addition to NKY sports this year. Looking forward to see who won the Dunkoff. Skinner from the Enquirer. I also learned to love the Ledger out of Mason county. Tim Cooper captured a lot of great shots as did Wayne Litmer through the course of the year. (not forgetting Just Jim's and Panda's facebook freebies). Thanks to Lawnboy for putting me on his text list when we were at different games.

Walter may have a love fest for the 9th, but a shout out to Randy, Gold Sunrise and their helpers who gave the 10th their due.

And last but not least how about BGP and the members who provided updates during the games. Not to mention the daily banter I look forward to.

Thanks for the shoutout LB and TAC.

Already looking forward to next season. I will be bringing ALOT more to the nky scene with my videos and coverage. Stay tuned.

Thanks TAC for reminding me, and everyone else, of these guys excellent work. I did this on the fly on my lunch break at the library, and I just know I would forget some.

Thanks Tac. Also a thanks to you and the others that would text me updates of the Regional tourney. I agree on those that gave updates. That is what makes BGP so informative and special. I agree on Walter, really appreciate all he has done with the videos and insight to the 9th region. Always look forward to them.

To all those that did regional notebooks. HUGE success IMO. Look forward to even better next year.

100% correct, good call Goldie.

I'd like to add Terry Niehaus, Gary Bamberger and Rick Pangallo who did the Holy Cross Internet Radio & Video broadcasts. They did a terrific job all year.

How did I forget these guys?:banghead:

Lest we forget TOG for his stats of not only the Colonels but opposing teams as well.

The photos taken of my son and shared by the likes of Panda, Just Jim, Wayne Litmer and Steve Hope (Highlands) are very especial to not just myself but my family and friends WHO could not be at all of his games.

You guys truly Rock and I cant thank you enough.

Thank you LB. It's our pleasure.

We echo all of the sentiments above. Especially to paNDA and Just Jim who allow us to use their pics. Makes things easier on me when trying to call a game and take pictures at the same time. Everyone who helped us with stats, rosters, and stories we greatly appreciate it. I think we have a good crew and one that will be with us for a while. It's been a fun year.

Also want to give a big shout out to the folks at the Bank of Kentucky Center. We had the best experience of the four years we have done the 9th Region Tournament and we couldn't have done it without them. Bill, Stephen, Gary, Denny and Matt are great folks.

Thanks to all of you mentioned on this thread. Let's do it again next year!

(In about 8 months.)
