Is Blevins a teacher? Might be the thing that holds him back.

Yes.

Blevins is a great guy and I believe he is ready for the head coach seat. He is a great guy and gets the kids to buy in. It would bring some additional heat to the rivalry between Cooper and Ryle.

The question isn't whether or not he's ready, cause he is....the question is would Ryle take him over someone that already has established themselves with head coaching experience like Snapp, Goetz , and Code.

Forgot about Ryan Bowman at Conner...definetly a possibility.

I think Ryan, Blevins, and Ross Hart of Holmes are all three guys that could easily be head coaches and have success.

I don't see Hart leaving Holmes but I wouldn't rule out Blevins or Bowman for Ryle.

Didn't coach Bowman's Conner JV team make the finals this year?

I would think Ryle will get many solid applicants. I'd bet the farm Goetz will apply and would see why Snapp would apply, but I don't know if Scott Code will, as he seems to be in a good place.

I saw on the other message board Brandon Grammer's name. Didn't he move away to coach somewhere?

They did.

Dan Trame? Just because things didn't work out in Walton, doesn't mean he wouldn't be a solid candidate.

Coach Grammer is at Seneca in Louisville. This was his first year with the program after spending some time coaching in Florida.

I would think Goetz would apply too with Campbell leaving and Holy Cross being the third best team in their district. My question though is Ryle a better situation for Goetz, Snapp, or even Grammer as well? Ryle has to compete with Boone, Conner, and Cooper every year for two spots. Now that the 36th will seed, Newport should be the 2 seed almost every year with the decline at Highlands. Holy Cross is in trouble next season as Cov Cath and Holmes should be good but with that said Ryle will not be top 2 in the 33rd next season.

Florida is where I thought he went. Thanks.

Something to think about...a special education job is opening up at Ryle.

Bowman, Blevins, and Snapp are all certified in that field.

This post was wrong on the JV Coach at Ryle. I'm not sure his first name, but his last name is Hostetler. He is a scout for the White Sox as well, so you can rule him out

I think Snapp is the perfect fit if he is interested.

I'm predicting Snapp to Ryle and Blevins to Newport.
