March 12, 201313 yr Author What am I missing here? Just a sixth round pick? Boldin was easily the Ravens best receiver. He made a ton of big plays this postseason that helped Flacco cash in. I think that the Ravens are trying to free up money to keep Ellerbe and Reed. Plus, consider the money they tied up in Flacco and the options were trade Boldin and get something or release him and get nothing. He was not going to renegotiate his deal. I think the WR depth in this draft makes this an easier move to swallow from a front office perspective as well.
