Transgender in Massachusetts

Sure, Fine, Whatever. You say you want to be transgender when you grow up. No problem with me. But, until you're physically different(meaning the sex change has happened or you 18 or something), they need to stick with their natural born gender. If the school is going to go this route, they need to have transgender bathroom. I wouldn't want my hypothetical children getting dressed/using the bathroom in front of the opposite sex. You can't pin this on the kids when they're weirded out by this.

Wow, I for once am lost for words. Talk about discrimination to straight kids.

In another thread, I said that I have been an optimist my entire life but am not optimistic about our future. I am pessimistic for many reasons but this is just another reason why. As a country, we are losing our minds. 20 years ago, crazy stuff like this could have never happened but it is common place now.

I work for a local bank. We very recently had this same situation occur at our operations center. A man went to our HR Dept. and said he wants to be a woman (but not actually have the surgical procedure). He informed HR that he would start dressing like a woman, would start using the women's bathroom and wanted to have access to the room where nursing mothers use to discharge their milk during the day (lactation room). Naturally, our HR Dept. caved on all his/her demands and told all the other employees in the building (a few hundred) that they were not harrass him and if the women were not comfortable with him/her in their bathroom, too bad. I have seen this guy/girl, who is over 6 feet tall. When he/she wears his 3+inch heels, and he does often, he can EASILY see over the other stalls and look at the women next to him. I have spoken to a few other women who are VERY uncomfortable when he/she is in the bathroom so they will just leave. Now he/she has went to HR and said he is not comfortable because others in the building are not as nice to him. NO KIDDING!! Because he/she cares about nobody else but himself/herself, he has MANY WOMEN in the building uncomfortable - many go to other floors just to avoid the chance of running into him/her in the restroom. I feel sorry for those kids in Massachusetts. This political correctness crap is out of control and is damaging our country.

I'd rather be working with a homosexual than a transgender. They weird me out and I understand why they do others as well.

Might be hard too, they may be tucked up underneath.

Private schools are looking better and better all the time.....

After reading this again, it makes me sick.

Turning into a society of softies; well, at least letting them run the show.

Me personally, I don't care what bathroom someone uses, however I can understand why it may make some uncomfortable. Until any surgery is performed, no chance should they be able to use the bathroom of the opposite sex though.

Bad thing is for sports. If I am the girls basketball coach I start recruiting boys who can act like they are girls so they can play and we can win state championship. Even if they fake, it would be dicriminating to accuse them of faking.

So true. I'm only 23 and I can see a big change in my lifetime. Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad, but some of this stuff just makes you cringe.
