You might want to start with studying the KHSAA rules and see if you can find where any were broken at Walton. I think you will find the answer is NO. Strange fact that in America some parents do still have a choice of where they send their kids to school.

And whether they realize or not, they want their kids to go to WVHS. If they need a little help in order to understand it we will meet them more than half way.

WVHS must be doing something right to make this many people this jealous

Simon Kenton's girls basketball program would not be where it is today if Walton-Varona had not raised the standard of competition in the 32nd district and in the 8th region. In the last three years, SK has been completely transformed from a slow it down half court offense, to up tempo basketball. Much of this improvement (my personal opinion only) is directly attributable to competitive pressure applied by the WV program.

Hmmmmm ... this seems to be a recurring theme year and year out. I wonder why this WV stigma keep on lingering??? It can't be sour grapes over and over, especially this year, or can it??? I just can't help from relating this to the old duck analogy: If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck, right?

Just because you are All Region does not put you above a wake up call of some time on the pine because you are not performing. Sometimes, a few minutes on the bench is all it takes to turn things around and light a fire. And yes, no disrespect to you, but coaches do it all the time. In a WIN or go home game this could possibly keep you from going home.

So 123go Hicks should have benched Carr against Oldam since he had 1 basket with 4minutes to go in the game, that would have been crazy.

Unless it's not just about girls basketball. Sure WV has had success in girls basketball, but I think they are pretty good in other sports as well. Does the NCKC have a winner for All Sports Combined? If so how does WV do in that? How does WV compare to the rest of the 8th Region Academically? ACT scores? State Assessments?

I think the same could be said about DuPont Manual, Beechwood, and Highlands. People just love to hate them due to their success across the board.
