Nate gave 'em something to remember him by in the second half - scored 20 points and knocked down four 3's. He looked like he was playing on his instincts in the second half, and we have seen that all too often out of him. Hit a three to cut it to 5 at 64-59 with 1:54 to go in the game and gave us the old fist pump one last time.

 

Crazy game. Campbell County scored 47 points in the second half, and lost.

Scott did not score a field goal in the fourth quarter and won. All 18 of their 4th quarter points came from the free-throw line (18/29).

Deondrew Jackson scored 9 of his 13 in the second half, and Jake Franzen put up 9 of his 13, all in the fourth quarter.

Nick Jackson scored 37 points and was 11 of 20 from the free-throw line in the second half.

Thanks to those who provided updates for this one! There were about 4 or 5 of us at The Fieldhouse following along during the Augusta/Mason game. :thumb:

 

It's unfortunate that one of these teams won't get to play in the Region. It's also sad that we've seen the last of McGovney on the high school level, but he went out with a great performance. Such an outstanding player & I hate that he battled injuries all year. Congrats to the young man & much thanks for his play over the years. :thumb:

 

Big win for Nick Jackson & the Eagles. Sounds like they were pretty dominant until the 4th quarter. They were ready to go from the tip & did what was needed to survive and advance. Congrats to Coach Carr & his squad on the victory! :thumb:

Congrats to the Eagles on the win! Really glad to hear that Jackson and McGovney had big nights. With the season on the line you're best players have to be special. Nate is a fine young man and an outstanding basketball player. I wish him nothing but the best.

Nate will be missed but Camels are young and will be fun to watch next year.
